I promised Friday Links this week, and I'm really proud of what I have to share with you! I've worked hard to gather lots of fun stuff to make up for missing out on last week. Hope you find something you like. Have a great weekend...enjoy!
Candy Colored Christmas @ artsy-crafty babe
I love looking at other people's holiday decorations...and these are fantastic. I love her little swirly tree.
(Free Download) Animals of the World Coloring Pages @ Louise Elliott Design
Love these. My mom was right when she said these would be awesome in embroidery.
How to Make a Snowstorm @ Craftstylish
Out of dental floss and sticky dots!
Explore Pop-Up Books! @ Robert Sabuda
Something tells me my sister will like this...! Lots of stuff to look at, and some free downloads to make some for yourself.
Chocolate Pillows Recipe @ Better Homes and Gardens
These look amazing.
gram's skate ornament how to @ Not Quite Vintage
I love this, mostly because I remember a tiny pair that my mom had made when she was young (if I remember right.) They were so cute - I loved the paperclips for blades.
"Coffee" by Christoph Niemann @ The New York Times
A visual editorial...hysterical and so true.
proof of insanity a.k.a. my Christmas cards @ cheekie magpie
These are so impressive. I had full intentions of making our cards, but in the interest of my mental health, I decided to postpone until next year (maybe.) What can I say? I'm a very busy and important woman. (ha)
Salvaged drawers = modular bookcase @ Craftynest
I think salvaged drawers are highly unappreciated for their potential.
DIY: MAKING SWEETS SWEETER @ Once Wed
Cute packaging ideas.
Glittery Newspaper Tree @ Bella Dia
Fun idea - I love Christmas tree crafts!
FilzFelt
New felt store - I want it all. I LOVE FELT.
How to Make a Manly Catchall @ Craftstylish
Not that it necessarily has to be "manly" but I can certainly appreciate how this is a craft Nathan would like and use. Especially in Dukes of Hazzard fabric...wonder if they make such a thing?
Last-minute gift idea - Sunglasses/spectacle case @ You SEW Girl
I like this - it really is a good gift idea.
Chocolate Dipped Candy Canes @ Make and Takes
I LOVE how they packaged it all up with some cocoa mix in a little baggie. That is one of those things that you see and think - "Why didn't I think of that?!" SO CUTE.
Quilled Snowflake Ornament @ reese dixon
I made some quilled stuff for Christmas a few years ago! My mom still has a little Christmas tree that I did for her. It's fun - I might try this. I love it all glittered up.
Espejitos (small mirrors in Spanish) @ Gingerbread Snowflakes
These are really neat. I would make them just to hang in my house, not even just for the Christmas tree - although I'm sure they'd be beautiful with the lights.
I really enjoyed these links, and I am also a felt fan.
ReplyDeleteYou've really outdone yourself this time!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite links are the free downloadable animals (thinking of making something vintage with them), pop-up books (thinking of making my nephew a card using the free how-to tutorial), and quilled snowflake is just oh-so inspiring (yet another scrapbooking tool that I need to buy).
