Friday Links

Rubitone (Rubik + Pantone) Concept
Designer nerds and color lovers will appreciate this one.

The Green Bible
I think this is a really cool concept. The website says, "The Green Bible is the definitive movement Bible that shows that God is green and how we can care for and protect God's creation." Features "verses and passages that speak to God's care for creation highlighted in green" and lots more...pretty awesome.

Repurposing Your Leftover Halloween Candy @ alpha mom
You can't go wrong with a good countdown craft, especially when it involves candy.

Present for a young stitcher (Felt Needlebook) @ Nini Makes
I love little felt needlebook projects. :)

How to Make a Surprisingly Simple Paper Wreath @ craftstylish
This is fun - now if only I could make out of the paint department with dozens of paint chips...?

Leaf Embroidery @ Huber Hof Academy
Really sweet little embroidery project with surprisingly pretty results.

Walnut Box @ inspired ideas
LOVE IT...would be so cute for jewelry and little trinket gifts!

Daisy Barn Arts
I followed a link to this artist the other day and fell in love. Super sweet little children's art inspired by crewel work - all fabric/embroidered collages.

Thanksgiving Table Appliqued + Quilted Runner @ the purl bee
Cute little sewing project...at about my skill level. :)

Diem Chau Crayon Sculptures
Awesome.

  1. So you can totally loot paint chips from any store. They don't care. Walmart is a good one though. I've done it for school projects and once I saw a "wallpaper your bathroom" with sample strips, which seems really fun if I weren't worried about selling the house someday.
