An interview with Jeff Fisher, who is so completely inspiring to me and many designers. I have been reading his book The Savvy Designer’s Guide to Success. I can safely say he's on my list of people I want to be when I grow up. The interview is totally interesting, lots of good insight into the logo design business and Jeff's take on/approach to it.

How To Work from Home at Simply Stated
Even though I may never achieve my dream of *successfully* working from home, I still insist on researching it as much as I can so I'll be as prepared as possible. :) I'm not sure about all of these tips (a cleaning service? a SINGLE-brew coffeemaker??) but some of them are absolutely true and great ideas (get ready for work in the morning; leave the house once a day; designated workspace with a door.)

Let's see. Watched the video -- interesting. I can imagine that at a certain point, her daughter will expect and demand privacy, but very interesting. Hey, nobody is reading my blog and paying me. I like #1 and #3. I'll make you a tissue cozy if you want one, and you can use my scraps for your binder clips any time you want. Dad working at home after him being gone from the house for so much time is an adjustment. He does get dressed every day, and he does get out of the house. It's his "stuff" that is everywhere....
